YRB is seeking 2x Full-time and 1x Part-time Call Center Clerks to work in our Logistics & Communication Centre.
The spectrum of work will include taking calls from members of the public, updating road conditions and events on DriveBC, and relaying information to and from our road crews. We are seeking reliable individuals with positive attitudes.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to 4350 Handlen Road
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices, and read and follow instructions.
- Ability to work on holidays, night shifts and weekends
Ability and Skills:
- Familiarity with MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Job Type: 2x Full-time and 1x Part-time roles are available.
Salary: $19.50 per hour + add’l $0.50 per hour for night shifts
Part-Time Schedule:
- 4 hour scheduled shift
- Monday to Friday (total 20 hrs/week scheduled)
- The part-time role is offered preference for ALL other available hours in the call centre to cover for sick days / holidays of other staff.
Full-Time Schedule:
- 10/12 hour scheduled shifts
- 4 days on / 4 days off / 4 nights on / 4 nights off
- Includes ALL holidays – late October to end of March
Work Location: In person
We are hiring now for positions that start in mid to late October. This is a seasonal role and employment will end on March 31, 2026.

Position Summary:
YRB Management Corp. is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and strategic Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead and manage all aspects of our technology infrastructure & security, systems development, and IT support across the YRB group of companies. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic oversight with practical understanding of our operational environments.
As part of onboarding, the successful candidate will spend the first four – six months working directly within one of our operating companies. This immersive assignment is designed to provide deep insight into day-to-day operations, frontline technology needs, and the challenges faced in the field. This experience will be critical in shaping a technology strategy that is truly aligned with the company’s real-world needs and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with the Executive team:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of IT initiatives across all YRB companies.
- Oversee procurement, implementation, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Drive development and customization of software solutions to meet operational and administrative needs.
- Remain in regular contact with all levels of the organization to identify ongoing issues with software/hardware and identify potential areas of improvement through iterative development or system upgrades.
- Manage IT department personnel and external vendors to ensure high service standards and compliance with applicable laws and standards (i.e. privacy).
- Ensure security and reliability of networks, servers, and cloud-based systems.
- Support government contract compliance through timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
- Supervise the Logistics Communication Center (LCC) during winter operations to ensure 24/7 coverage, including public communications, GPS monitoring, and road event reporting.
- Monitor and support systems for accounting, payroll, and other enterprise software platforms.
- Leverage insights from the initial field assignment to guide system development, integration, and long-term IT strategy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an IT leadership role, with the ability to manage a team of people
- Background in software development, IT infrastructure, and systems integration.
- Experience in field-based or operations-driven environments is highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate technical teams and support personnel.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree would be preferred and/or applicable education and experience in the field of Information Technology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business units.
