Position Summary:
Yellowhead Road & Bridge (Fort George) Ltd. is looking for an experienced autobody repair technician and/or refinisher to join our body shop department. YRB Body and Paint is an accredited repair shop that performs a variety of services to meet distinct customer needs. We are seeking a hard-working individual with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving ability. We are a union shop that offers competitive wages complemented with employee benefits. Requirements:
- Minimum grade 12 education
- Trade journeyman accreditation
- Previous experience with reviewing damage reports and creating repair cost estimates
- Previous experience with managing claims
- Strong interpersonal skill set
- Ability to positively interact with customers
- Class 5 Driver’s License
Abilities and Skills:
- Repair and replace components
- Identify and repair deficiencies
- Repair body surfaces in preparation for paint
- Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation
- Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.30 – $39.58/hr – based on experience
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day Shift
- Monday – Friday

YRB Fort George is seeking a Winter Operator/Labourer.

Position Summary:

We are seeking individuals with a valid class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air, a clean driving record and driver’s abstract. The position will include a variety of additional labour and equipment-oriented tasks as part of the snow removal process. The point of assembly will be based from the Bear Lake, Prince George, or Slim Creek Yard. We offer competitive rates with the opportunity to be based locally. YRB Fort George is seeking a Mechanic.

Position Summary:
Yellowhead Road & Bridge performs highway maintenance services in the Prince George & surrounding area. We are seeking a Heavy Duty/Commercial and Automotive Red Seal Mechanic with related experience. We would also consider Red Seal apprentices with related industry job experience. This job provides stable and rewarding work opportunity in the construction/maintenance industry.
The seasonal nature of the industry offers variation in repair through the course of the year. The spectrum of work will include diagnosing, inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing various equipment, commercial trucks, light duty pickups, trailers, electrical sign equipment, and retail fleet services. We are seeking a hard-working individual with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving ability. Benefits, extended health coverage, and ownership opportunities are available at the conclusion of the probationary period.
Requirements:
- Minimum grade 12 education
- Heavy Duty/Commercial Red Seal OR Automotive Red Seal certificate
- Minimum 2 year’s work experience in the industry
- Minimum class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read and follow instruction.
- Ability to work afternoon shift on a rotational basis.
- Respond to service calls in all types of weather conditions
Ability and Skills:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnosis, and repair electrical, and mechanical components
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to troubleshoot reported problems and resolve in a timely manner
- Perform thorough maintenance and accurately record/document completed repairs.
