Position Summary:
YRB Management Corp. is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and strategic Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead and manage all aspects of our technology infrastructure & security, systems development, and IT support across the YRB group of companies. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic oversight with practical understanding of our operational environments.
As part of onboarding, the successful candidate will spend the first six – eight months working directly within one of our operating companies. This immersive assignment is designed to provide deep insight into day-to-day operations, frontline technology needs, and the challenges faced in the field. This experience will be critical in shaping a technology strategy that is truly aligned with the company’s real-world needs and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with the Executive team:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of IT initiatives across all YRB companies.
- Oversee procurement, implementation, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Drive development and customization of software solutions to meet operational and administrative needs.
- Remain in regular contact with all levels of the organization to identify ongoing issues with software/hardware and identify potential areas of improvement through iterative development or system upgrades.
- Manage IT department personnel and external vendors to ensure high service standards and compliance with applicable laws and standards (i.e. privacy).
- Ensure security and reliability of networks, servers, and cloud-based systems.
- Support government contract compliance through timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
- Supervise the Logistics Communication Center (LCC) during winter operations to ensure 24/7 coverage, including public communications, GPS monitoring, and road event reporting.
- Monitor and support systems for accounting, payroll, and other enterprise software platforms.
- Leverage insights from the initial six-month field assignment to guide system development, integration, and long-term IT strategy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an IT leadership role, with the ability to manage a team of people
- Background in software development, IT infrastructure, and systems integration.
- Experience in field-based or operations-driven environments is highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate technical teams and support personnel.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree would be preferred and/or applicable education and experience in the field of Information Technology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business units.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $109,848.94-$120,989.06 per year
